EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP BEHAVIORS FOR PUBLIC SERVANTS’S POSITIVE MOOD, SATISFACTION AND ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT – EVIDENCE FROM VIETNAM

The study aims to examine the correlations among leadership styles, employee job satisfaction, positive moods, and organizational commitment in public sector Vietnam. A quantitative approach was implemented using partial least square structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). questionnaire distributed 457 respondents working agencies seven southern provinces of findings concluded that three styles (task-oriented, relation-oriented, change-oriented) directly predicted but only task-oriented change-oriented affected satisfaction. Further associations were also confirmed, including effects mood satisfaction on commitment. Consequently, indirect influences between independent variables (leadership styles) indicated. Perceiving significance as well moods from empirical results, leaders are able establish their own appropriate strategies policies improve performance sector. Moreover, this article would provide a basis for further analyses administration, paper is one very first leading academic studies Vietnam
